Some of my entries are public because they are not really that personal. If you want to see my more personal entries with real life updates, pictures, and all that shizzle, then we'll have to be mutual friends. I'm not really that strict when it comes to friending. Actually, new friends are always welcome. ;) I just prefer that we have some things in common and/or we've already had prior contact.

+ If you want to add me just because of my graphics, please just head over to my graphics community,
lilacwine7.
+ If we know each other in real life but are not friends, please do not embarrass us both by asking to friend me. Feel free to seek me out on facebook, tumblr, twitter, etc.
+ I read your entries and I try my best to comment, but even if I don't comment all the time, I do read. This works both ways. I do appreciate your comments but I'm not one to pitch a hissy fit just because you don't comment on my entries all the time. ;)
+ You are more than welcome to disagree with me but please don't do it in a childish manner. Debating is good but bashing is totally uncool.
+ Of course, once you friend me, I will also assume that I am welcome to disagree with something you say. Freedom of speech goes both ways.
+ I would really appreciate it if you explain why you want to friend me. It is just common courtesy to do so. Before you friend me, please ask first. Otherwise, I won't add you back because I'd assume you just friended me for no good reason.
+ I do believe in the idea of cutting friends, but I don't do that just for the hell of it. I do have reasons. Don't take it personally. If you want to know why I defriended you, ask politely, which you can do either via LJ comments, email, or IM. It's up to you. There's a big chance it's not even anything personal - something to do with us being in very different places or me not being able to relate with you anymore. For me, cutting friends =/= ZOMG I HATE YOU!
